The ROBO 30T takes your railing fabrication to the next level of productivity by exceeding our ROBO 30 capabilities. Besides the advantages of the ROBO 30 it adds the flexibility of a second spindle to include other operations. The integrated flexible handling arm is available for tapping up to 2 3/8" size. Another application would be a reaming step if a higher precision hole size is required.
When utilizing the ROBO 30's friction drilling capacity to create bushings for added rigidity and to include a threaded hole, the second handling arm covers the range for the clamped material. With this unique ROBO 30T arm, also angular tapping positions within range are available. Minimal mist cutting lube is supplied for best results at both spindles. Two handling arm sizes are available with powerful air motors and arm rigidity up to 2 3/8" tapping capacity.
Both, the ROBO 30 and ROBO 30T are a perfect tool to quickly and precisely machine the different tubing sections at the exact locations, per the design layouts. No scribing or center punching steps are required. Drilling/milling/tapping/reaming operations in stainless steel tubing are quickly and easily performed and repeated even when angular milling/drilling/tapping up to +/-50 degrees are required. The angles are set quickly with the angular sale and then locked into position.
Friction Stir drilling (flow drilling) operations for #8, #10, 1/4" and 5/16" (or M5, M6 and M8) threads can strengthen the design.
Material length up to 120 inch (3 meters) are loaded and set against adjustable stops, or easily positioned with the feed-unit. Positions are displayed in absolute or incremental dimensions as selected for either Inch or Metric. Besides the quick set up features, the ROBO30T is even more productive once the initial set up is completed. Quickly and accurately, ROBO30T expands your productivity even further.
