The Dayton Advanced Manufacturing and Technology Show was very well visited and a good success for Metal Cutting Solutions, Inc. Many visitors showed great interest in the BLUCO welding fixtures and the SharperDrills™ drill sharpener tools. Also for the other products, many new customer leads could be generated. The Centerdrill line of friction drills and form taps raised interest in many people. Besides finding new contacts and ideas for their needs, many used the show to update their knowledge about manufacturing technology today. . .

Robo 30 sold 130 times since it's introduction in 2007. Just a few weeks after the TUBE 2008 ended, Kaercher reports strong orders for the ROBO30. With two machines placed in Austria and three in Spain, two new markets start recognizing and buying the ROBO 30. This success is a proof for the unique advantages of the ROBO30. Many users reported their satisfaction and promote the ROBO30.
The next important show hosted in May, in Europe is in Italy.

Düsseldorf, Germany: Tube 2008 has ended. Combining the three events, Metav, Wire and Tube seems to be the right track.
First Impressions from the Tube 2008 are very positive. According to first reports, not only the number of visitors has increased from 2007, but also worldwide the tube found great acceptance. Kaercher reports, that 2 ROBO 30 were sold and one is already working in Cologne. The other is on it's way to Spain. Also a good level of leads were generated from Germany, European and Asian visitor. See for yourself, following the link to the Tube 2008 above.
Next Kearcher is planning an "Open House" at their plant location, together with some related local companies. Over 6000 Invitations are mailed mostly to local prospects. Expectations are high for the event on Saturday, April 12, 2008 and April 13, 2008. If you are in the area, please contact us for more details.
Also CENTERDRILL and CENTERTAP are happy with the level of interest. According to their reports, the show was frequented by many end-users from everywhere. It will take some days to work up the many leads and get a good overview.

For the Metal Working Industry in Europe and North America, 2008 will be an eventful year. In September Chicago is hosting the International Machine Tool Show, IMTS 2008. A world wide event, attracting visitors from the manufacturing world and a trend setting barometer.
Before this, however, several important shows are hosted. Especially in Europe, where 2007 was a booming business year for many companies in the metal working industries, machine tool builders and supplier alike, posted great year end reports with an upbeat note for 2008. This year already starts with good orders and everyone is extremely positive. After many average years, the quality of European products, together with a strong commitment to advanced manufacturing and professional educated labor trades, seems to bring success. Worldwide, customers are looking towards Europe for products and solutions. German products are regarded highly for their high quality combined with unique features and despite the high value of the EURO, demand is great.
The next event is at the beginning of April: From March 31 to April 4, 2008, Düsseldorf is hosting a combination of three major events:
The METAV 2008, The Wire 2008 and The Tube 2008. Many suppliers are getting ready to show off their products and the capacity of their companies. The demand is good and the expectations are high.
